Wonderfully helpful!

This is going to be so useful!

I’d started making my own list, going through all the numbers and “alt”ing the result – up to 1050 so far! [I’d got the “standard”, but wondered how far it went on – still wondering]

But I’ve just found that using a leading zero makes a difference to the result. ’d not used a lead zero and the characters I get are not the same as in your list; when I added the zero they were.

So there seem to be two sets of characters and which you get depends on that lead zero. Which means me having to add another two columns to my table, and having to relist the numbers [with lead zeroes] and re-alt-ing them. Sigh

I'll try to post in examples of the differences: hope they take
158 - × — 0158 – ž
220 - ▄ — 0220 – Ü

My other problem is in describing the alternate characters, so that I can group them. I know the umlaut, cedilla and accents, but I have no idea what some of the other letter-modifications are properly called [such as that curve over the z above], and as for two-letters-joined-together [nj, lj, ƕ]…

Thank you for this informative article my friend.

These are such useful codes - thank you for sharing these. I'm going to try them right now.

This alt codes table is great, because I had a Sql Sort which sorted differently to vba when using a comparison operator mainly because of how umlauts etc were handled. I solved the problem by writing a replace function within the sort routine to substitue o for ö etc.

This fixed a bug in my code, thanks for the great work.

Another thing you can do to try and repair your PS3 console is send it to a local games console repair shop. Look for classified ads in newspapers, or ask around to see if there is a PS3 repair centre in your town/city.

One thing you will find looking for information on how to repair ps3 is that there are not a lot of free methods to fix PS3 faults. Professional methods are definitely needed when it comes to console repairs.

Personally, I would recommend purchasing a ps3 repair guide. Most of the PS3 repair guides on the Internet are extremely comprehensive, and created with beginners in mind, with detailed videos and instructions on how to repair your PS3 console.

This is so good that you provide the description with symbols.

The International English Keyboard is excellent for those who know the qwerty keyboard and for newer laptops/netbooks, while the specific language keyboards are useful if you are familiar with them. Thanks for sharing the information.
